On 20th of november 2001 we started our happening "jette ton arme" (Lay down your weappons)

Wir bereiteten uns auf unser Theaterstück vor: ( Kain und Abel) der Krieg und sein Bruder. Dieses Theaterstück handelt von einem Mann der sich Krieg nannte und nicht wusste wer er im vorherigen Leben war, er reiste durch Jahrhunderte als er plötzlich seinen Bruder Abel traf.

We prepared for our theater (Kain and Abel) the war and his brother. It's about a man who's name was war and who did not kinow what he was in a previous life. He travelled thru the centuries, before all of a sudden he met his brother Abel.

Nach dem Theaterstück warfen einige Schüler ihre Waffen weg. Diejenigen die ihre Waffen nicht wegwerfen wollten oder keine hatten, malten Bilder von Waffen. 

After our performance some of the pupils threw away there weappons. Those who wanted to keep there weappons or did not have any, drawed pictures of weappons.

Ein paar Kinder aus unserer Klasse nahmen Medaillen oder selbstgebastelte Orden mit.

A few children from our class medals or tinkered medals carried forward.

Patricia's Meinung: 

Meine Meinung ist, dass die Action nur halb soviel bewirkt hat wie sie eigentlich hätte sollen. Die Erstklässler wollten nämlich nachher wieder mit ihren Waffen ,, Mord und Todschlag ,, spielen.

My opinion is that the Action caused only half as much as it actually should. The first graders wanted to play afterwards again with their weapons, murder and death impact.

Ich finde diese Aktion megagut, denn wenn die Kinder ihre Waffen wegwerfen dann denken sie vielleicht nicht mehr an Krieg.
 

I find this action very (mega) good, because if children lay throw away there weappons, then they don't think about war anymore.

Ich finde es gut, weil dann wissen den Kinder dass man nicht mehr in Krieg. Aber die Kinder wollen ihre Waffen zurück
 

I find it good, because then know children that one the no more in war. But the children want their weapons back

 

Ich finde es aber trotzdem gut diese Action denn so lernen die Kinder, die es wollen, dass das Leben nicht nur aus Streit besteht.
 

I find it however nevertheless well this Action in such a way learn the children, who want it that the life does not only consist of controversy.

Ich finde diese Aktion gut, aber die kleinen Kinder haben nicht viel verstanden . 
 

I find this internal message good, but the small children did not understand much

Es war ein Versuch wert aber es hat nicht viel gebracht, auch wenn wir ein paar Waffen bekommen hatten aber das war leider fast nur auch von unserer Klasse . Die kleinen Kinder werden das noch lange nicht verstehen weil sie doch nicht wissen wasein Krieg überhaupt bedeutet
 

It was an attempt worth however it not much brought, even if we had gotten a few weapons however that were unfortunately almost only also from our class. The small children still for a long time not to understand because it nevertheless to know what in war are not meant

Ich finde auch dass diese Action nicht viel gewirkt hat, denn alle wollten ihre Waffen wieder zurück.
 

I find also that this Action worked not much, because all wanted their weapons again back.

Die Action hat nicht gewirkt: heute spielen die Kinder wieder Krieg in der Pause und daheim. Den kleinen Kindern ist es egall dass andere Leute unterm Krieg leiden.
 

The Action did not work: today the children play again war in the break and at home. It is no matter to the small children that other people suffer from war.
